\tConfessions: Tricky revelations, poetic admissions and Catholic guilt<\/B><\/p>\n

Our February theme<\/A> was inspired by the brilliant, devilishly twisted revenge tale Confessions<\/I><\/A> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c read our interview with director Tetsuya Nakashima<\/A>, who also made Kamikaze Girls<\/I><\/A> and Memories of Matsuko<\/I><\/A>, and watch the trailer<\/A>. Also on cinema screens this month, Howl<\/I><\/A> explores Allen Ginsberg’s revolutionary confessional poem. We also have articles on nunsploitation<\/A>, and on faith and guilt in William Peter Blatty’s Exorcist<\/I> trilogy<\/A>, as well as a Reel Sounds column on I Walked with a Zombie<\/I><\/A>. <\/p>\n
