It is the occasion to take another look at his 2002 debut <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk\/reviews\/2007\/07\/01\/taxidermia\/\" class=\"link2\"><I>Hukkle<\/I><\/A>, an original low-key murder mystery of sorts. <\/p>\n<p class=\"copy\">In the cinema releases we have controversial Cannes-winner French drama <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk\/reviews\/2007\/07\/01\/flanders\/\" class=\"link2\"><I>Flanders<\/I><\/A>, hard-hitting Haiti documentary <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk\/reviews\/2007\/07\/01\/ghosts-of-cite-soleil\/\" class=\"link2\"><I>Ghosts of Cit\u00c3\u00a9 Soleil<\/I><\/A>, twisted home-movie <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk\/reviews\/2007\/07\/01\/running-stumbled\/\" class=\"link2\"><I>Running Stumbled<\/I><\/A> and <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk\/reviews\/2007\/07\/01\/daratt\/\" class=\"link2\"><I>Daratt<\/I><\/A>, a revenge tale from Chad. As the BFI hosts a season dedicated to the work of little-known Japanese master Mikio Naruse we review his sophisticated female-centred sixties opus <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk\/reviews\/2007\/07\/01\/when-a-woman-ascends-the-stairs\/\" class=\"link2\"><I>When a Woman Ascends the Stairs<\/I><\/A>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copy\">As the John Travolta-led <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk\/features\/2007\/07\/01\/john-waters-hairhopping-to-hollywood\/\" class=\"link2\"><I>Hairspray<\/I><\/A> remake is about to invade our screens we have a feature celebrating John Waters&#8217; 1987 original, which more than qualifies as our Rock&#8217;n&#8217;Roll Movie of the month.
