No System Is Safe<\/i><\/b>, starring Tom Schilling (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk\/features\/2014\/01\/16\/oh-boy-interview-with-jan-ole-gerster\/\"><i>Oh Boy<\/i><\/a>). <\/p>\n<p>Other highlights in the programme include US productions <b><i>Dope<\/i><\/b>, directed by Rick Famuyiwa, and Jon Watts&#8217; B-movie <b><i>Cop Car<\/i><\/b>, while Simon Pummell\u2019s sci-fi feature debut <b><i>Brand New-U<\/i><\/b> and David Blair\u2019s supernatural thriller <b><i>The Messanger<\/i><\/b> both seem worth checking out from the selection of British films on offer. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to all things new, this year\u2019s main retrospective focuses on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk\/reviews\/2008\/09\/04\/the-walter-hill-collection\/\">Walter Hill<\/a>\u2019s early career, including his car chase classic <b><i>The Driver<\/i><\/b>, the suspensful and sweaty <b><i>Southern Comfort<\/i><\/b> and <b><i>The Long Riders<\/i><\/b>, Hill\u2019s take on the exploits of the Jesse James and Cole Younger gang. Running parallel to this, the Little Big Screen showcase features an eclectic mix of 1960s and \u201870s American TV movies and offers a rare chance to see Sam Peckinpa&#8217;s <b><i>Noon Wine<\/i><\/b> on the big screen, and a couple of vampire cult classics: Tobe Hooper&#8217;s <b><i>Salem\u2019s Lot<\/i><\/b> and John Llewellyn Moxey\u2019s <b><i>The Night Stalker<\/i><\/b>.
