Sergei Paradjanov: The Colour of Pomegranates
In March, we like Close-Up‘s season of Andrei Tarkovsky films, the cult film season at the Roxy Bar and Screen , the Paradjanov Festival, celebrating the visionary, dissident, infludential Georgian/Armenian film director, the Alice in Wonderland season at BFI Southbank, the Roman Polanski season at the Barbican website, the PhotoFilm series of events at Tate Modern, which explores the relationship between still and moving images, the Birds Eye View Festival, promoting women in cinema, the wonderful, eclectic Flatpack Festival in Birmingham, the Kinoteka Festival of Polish films, and the Future Shorts ‘Rebell Yell’ March programme.
