Nice job! Very inspired. I was just watching the movie with an eye on Christ imagery, though, and I was struck by how the ending is very "empty tombish". We don't see Sweetback, we see the lack of his dead body, then the mountaintop and the heavens, then WATCH OUT, and then the promise of Sweetback's return in a transfigured form...not the runner, but the judge. In realistic terms, you're right...he's wanted, he's broke, and he's in a foreign country that also oppresses and marginalizes the poor. In epic terms, though, there's a substantial victory.
