Loosely based on the French graphic novel Le bleu est une couleur chaude<\/I> by Julie Maroh, Blue Is the Warmest Colour <\/I> is an oddly seductive, three-hour lesbian love saga, featuring the coming-of-age of middle-class high school girl Ad\u00e8le (Ad\u00e8le Exarchopoulos (Carr\u00e9 blanc<\/i><\/a>), who instantly and desperately falls for foxy art student Emma (L\u00e9a Seydoux), from the moment she spots her on the street in Lille until their painful and moving break-up as young adults.
